Julia Roberts showed off her incredible figure during a trip to the beach in Sydney this week. The 55-year-old actress was spotted strutting along the sand in a stylish black swimsuit that highlighted her toned physique. Roberts is currently in Australia filming her latest project, the romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise costarring George Clooney.
Photographs show Roberts gleefully frolicking in the ocean and sunbathing on the beach. She appeared relaxed and carefree while swimming and laughing with friends.
At one point, she was seen dancing and twirling on the sand without a care in the world.
An onlooker commented, “She seemed to be having a great time. Julia was all smiles as she swam and chatted with her friends. She looked to be in amazing shape and was clearly enjoying her downtime in between filming.” Roberts has credited her youthful looks and fitness to drinking plenty of water, avoiding excessive sun exposure and staying active by running, spinning and yoga.
At 55, Roberts continues to cement her status as one of Hollywood’s most in-demand and highest-paid actresses.
Ticket to Paradise will be her fifth collaboration with Clooney. The pair have previously starred together in Ocean’s Eleven, Ocean’s Twelve, Money Monster and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
Speaking about reuniting on screen again with Clooney, Roberts said, “George and I have always had a good laugh together. This film seemed like the perfect excuse to work together again and have some fun.” Filming for the movie commenced in Australia in November last year.

In the romantic comedy, Roberts and Clooney play a divorced couple who travel to Bali in a desperate bid to stop their daughter from marrying a local man she has just met. Havoc ensues as the bickering exes are forced to reconnect to save their daughter from following in their own footsteps.
Directed by Ol Parker, Ticket to Paradise is scheduled for release in October 2022. Advance buzz suggests the film could be another hit for Roberts and Clooney, whose effortless chemistry and comedic timing have made them one of cinema’s most beloved on-screen duos.
