On Valentine’s Day, various tennis players have shared their special messages for their partners and better halves. Prominent stars, such as Stefanos Tsitsipas and Taylor Fritz took to Instagram to share their special messages for their partners.

However, the World No.1 Novak Djokovic has received a special message over Instagram on this special day. However, it’s not from his wife but from the Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios.

The tennis sports network Tennis Channel shared a special video on the eve of Valentine’s Day of the favorite tennis duos in the circuit right now. The video features a number of special tennis duos such as Daniil Medvedev and Tsistsipas, Elina Svitolina, and Gael Monfils. Besides these, the video also features the duo of Kyrgios and Djokovic. Thus, reacting to this, the Australian tennis star shared the post on his Instagram story with the caption,

Hahahah Novak Djokovic happy valentines my dear.

Even though the two players are quite aggressive on court while playing, they share a very amicable bond off-court. Even during the Australian Open last month, both players shared a moment of laughter when Nick Kyrgios was interviewing the Serbian after a match.

Novak Djokovic receives appreciation from his career-long rival

Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal have been two of the fiercest competitors the world of tennis has ever seen. Both the players are so soothing to the eye and naturally dominated the sport for more than a decade. However, with time, Rafa’s career has been hampered due to injuries while Djokovic is still strong at 36.

Owing to this, Rafa during his interview with El Objective de La Sexta, opened up about the greatness of his Serbian compatriot.

I would say he is the best in history. He has had a better body than mine and that also counts.

the Spaniard said when asked about who is the best.
The Spaniard also stated that Djokovic is a much better person than the image he projects of himself.
