The Kansas City Chiefs players and staff are currently on a bye week from football after they defeated the Miami Dolphins in Germany.

The Week 10 bye has opened up some opportunities for players to appear at different events. We already know tight end Travis Kelce will be spending time with Taylor Swift overseas as she kicks off the second leg of her Eras tour.

Days after enjoying a girls’ night out in New York City with new pal Taylor Swift, Brittany Mahomes headed to Dallas for an NBA date Wednesday with her husband, Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The couple sat courtside at American Airlines Center, where they watched the Dallas Mavericks lose to the Toronto Raptors, 127-116.

The two of them shared a notable exchange during the game as cameras focused in on them:

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has not been really open about his support for teams in other sports. He has shown a solid loyalty to his home state of Texas, with his favorite Major League Baseball squad, the Rangers, winning the World Series.

He is no stranger to the Mavericks, as he has been in attendance at playoff games in recent seasons.

During this recent game, both he and his wife received signed Mavericks jerseys from star point guard Luka Doncic, who had 31 points, seven rebounds, and eight assists on Wednesday.

His fan base may not like it, but Mahomes grew up a Cowboys fan. You are unlikely to see Mahomes and his wife at AT&T Stadium this Sunday cheering them on.
